To my friends at (.mil) I got your message, again. My statement(s) above was not an attempt to blow an operation by to point out your incompetence. It took a bunch of old "Bodybaggers", most of us already three sheets to the wind only a few minutes to figure out the game. People looking for this would have seen it much sooner and you could have had some real problems.

To those of you who don't read history I would suggest you look into why the Nazi (German) Army on the Eastern Front never infultrated the Soviet Army.

I'm sure Noah likes it that he is so well read by the higher ups but you don't have to hack my password everytime your don't like what I post, just E-Mail me, what ever we talk about as usual will be between us, as before I won't post on a public board what we dicuss.

Really folks I'm on your side.

This is nuts. My father went to Vietnam and spent 14 months in Denang harbor treating the wounded. He does not say many good things about the execution of any war. Therefore, re-enacting something that is such a recent memory (to many people) may be indiscrete and ignorant; especially if re-enacted for the reasons stated in this article.

On a personal note, I don't know why any civilian in their right mind would want to sign up to hump a pack for no good reason. Humping a pack in the military is a minor part of a much larger calling. For civilians, get a life.

Yes, learn from history.... but tread lightly; the same logic would apply to re-enacting the twin-tower disaster.

As a side note, I can tell you that my father believes in freeing oppressed people and in our push to create democracy in Iraq. So, to you lefties out there, don't try to twist my statements into anti-war propaganda.

Good Evening Friends,

I spent last week at my Regimental Reunion which was held in Coloarado Springs this past week. The same week as the Northern Command meetings and excerises taking place. It was a ball.

For some reason a reunion of Vietnam era Cavalrymen became the target of infuriation by an Inrelligence Group (Cell). It was, well something less James Bond and more Bill Murry.

My first night at the reunion was Tuesday, we don't offically start till Thursday, I go early to get in a couple of extra days abuse on my liver.

That evening a "Lt. Col."came into the hotel bar in his desert cammies and edged his way over and joined us. It didn't take more the five minutes for all of us to figure out this "Battalion Commander" on his way to Iraq, wasn't.

Clue to his handlers reading this, he was not wearing the correct uniform. Hint Airborne Patches or lack of them. Some of us who this "Lt. Col." showed the most interest in decided to go along with the game, hell at my age it's should be considered a compliment that you are a "Person of Interest" to some Inell. Agency.

The other two quite noticeable self invited guests were female officers. An "Air Force Major" and another "Lt. Col." who claimed to be the husband of the male "Lt. Col." I never saw her in a uniform.

The "Air Force Major" blew her cover when she checked into the hotel on Wednesday afternoon, she wore an Air Force "Class B" uniform, incorrectly. Hit to my friends in Intelligence, Offiers always wear a cover, even on a good hair day. When she came down to mingle and read name tags a few hours later she looked, well if they had a Major who looked like her during Vietnam I would have begged to stay in Army. She was as we use to say a "..knock out."

She knew who she was looking for and the questions over drinks in the bar were clearly follow ups to the conversations in the bar the night before.

She was very good and as soon as she got what she wanted she moved on to her next "Victm". We called her the "Black Widow" that evening. She disappeared after that evening in the bar.

The third member of this Intelligence Cell was the "Wife" of the "Army Lt. Col." who also claimed to be a "Lt. Col." (no branch was ever indicated) she appeared Saturday night. She was clearly out of uniform by about three buttons on her black blouse and about 9 inches of skirt.

All that I can say is that all she wanted to talk about the tactical deployment differences of a Regimental Cavalry Squadron and a Divisional Cavalry Squadron. Da** that's hard to do while looking down at a pair of 38's. I clearly would have perfered another topic of dicussion. Her "Husband" was never fore then a couple of feet away. So combat tactics it had to be, but oh the scenery.

I can only assume that we were part of the Northern Command's exercise last week and this post might, I hope help show some of the kinks that have to be worked out yet. I don't want to believe that a few hundred mostly drunk Cavalry Troopers form a long forgotten War could be of any possable interest to any Intelligence Agency/Command/Group.

If we are, the country is in far deeper sh** then even I though it was in.
