John:

Feel free to put in a fake e-mail address. Many do. I couldn't give two shits.

And, as a fairly committed Jew, I don't throw Hitler analogies around lightly. Nor do I appreciate those that do. I've never said or written anything that would remotely imply that our President is a Nazi. So, please, don't put words in my mouth.

Oh, and the irony of Noah's medley of media hysteria is so savory. This, from a guy that forces you to reveal your email address and/or divulge your name to post a comment.

Noah tracking people for website security purposes is okay, but the government tracking down terrorists from a list of phone numbers is verboten.

Pot. Kettle. Black.

I just love how the media hysteria is being collectively ignored by the public. My God, the government is trying to prevent another 9/11?!! Can you believe it?!!

You can even see Noah joining in here, rounding up all the media fear mongering and Bush = Hitler insinuation he can lay his hands on.

And the crowd yawned.

Whaddya wanna bet that all these same news outlets already have their "Bush and Cheney asleep at the switch" stories already written for the next terrorist event.

Then they can run around shrieking about how the President isn't doing anything to keep us safe and how Cheney's cronies at Halliburton profit from this sort of thing.

And they wonder why nobody pays attention to them.

So, we want Bush to connect the dots, but not collect the dots. (Hattip Lileks or Mark Steyn, I can't remember which.) EXCUSE ME! We definitely have a problem here. Regards Keith
