I’ll be on Fox News Sunday morning, around 9:20 am eastern time, to talk about my latest piece for Wired. It’s a true crime story, centered around a triple-homicide in Tacoma, Washington.
Last February, Ulysses Handy murdered Darren Christian, Daniel Varo and Lindy Cochran. The killer and his victims were friends — both offline and on. The aftermath of the crime played out equally in real life, and on the MySpace social network, too. Which made for some awfully strange twists and turns.
The story’s not online, yet. But I’ll definitely let you know when it goes up.
Why is it Noah VERSUS Fox News instead of Noah ON Fox news? The post didnt indicate anything hostile or adversarial about the appearance. Being paid to appear on a TV program doesnt seem to be much of a versus situation.
Damn, what a connection. I attend the University of Puget Sound (just a couple blocks from the house where these three were killed). I was there last year and I remember the story breaking. Will you have a clip for us, or do I have to watch it live?
K: I think you’re a little confused.
1) I don’t get paid to go on Fox — almost no one does. It’s an exposure thing.
2) The “vs.” was tongue-in-cheek, not serious.
S: Strange coincidence. I don’t think I can post a clip, unfortunately.
